About the Budh Yantra
The planet Mercury, also known as Budh, has a great importance in human life and houses positive reflection for adorning many aspects in our lives. Mercury is believed to be the giver of intellect, softness, affection, knowledge, humanity, harmony, etc which are important for a successful and peaceful life.
Budh Yantra is used to propitiate malefic or troubled Mercury. To counter balance the negative effect of Mercury, Budh Yantra is extremely helpful.

Guidelines to adopt the Yantra
For the pacification of Mercury, fasts should be observed on every Amavasya (moonless night). Mercury is worshipped when it is in the north-east direction.
For effective working of the Budh Yantra, certain guidelines have to be strictly followed.
The Budh Yantra should be adopted on Wednesday at the time of rising Moon.
The guidelines for Budh Yantra are:
- Purification of both mind and body is important. One must start with clear mind and cleansed body.
- Find a quiet place on the floor, facing east direction.
- Light diya(s).
- Offer fresh flowers and fruits.
- After that, take the water with any leaf from any tree and sprinkle the water on yourself followed by sprinkling the water on the Yantra.
- For the purification of your soul, surrender yourself completely in devotion to God and chant the following mantra 21 times: "Om Braang Breeng Brong Sa Bhudhaya Namah"
- Close your eyes and concentrate on the divine being to bless you. With utmost sincerity, pray for your heart’s desire.
