About the Chinnamasta Yantra
Chinnamasta is one among the ten Mahavidyas, the sixth one. Chinnamasta is an idyllic and transcendental Hindu Goddess that makes us to slash our own heads. She is depicted as a deity without a head with blood pouncing out of her open neck. The sense behind this is to liberate ourselves from the limitations and restrictions of mind. Chinnamasta is ‘Shakti’ or the lighting, the power of Lord Indra. Chinnamasta deity stands for direct perception, which involves breaking all the shatters and reaching the infinite beyond the limits towards pure awareness. This pure awareness is beyond the boundaries of death and sorrow.
Chinnamasta Yantra is a very strong and effective Yantra, which makes an influential impact on its bearer. As an impact of Chinnamasta Yantra, a person gets blessed with offspring, gets rid of troubles, and does not face poverty. Bearing Chinnamasta Yantra helps a person to free his/her mind from the limitations and reach the infinite level of their thinking ability. This Yantra helps a person in successful meditation, in developing deep perception, in overcoming negative energies, and in finding answers to his troubles. Also, person with a Chinnamasta Yantra gets enabled to conquer over his enemies. Chinnamasta Yantra also brings prosperity in the life of its bearer.
One should purify himself through body, mind and soul before bearing Chinnamasta Yantra. While bearing the Yantra, the person should be calmly sitting on the floor with the direction of the face towards the east. Now, open the Chinnamasta Yantra and place it along with an image of the Lord of Yantra, or your Isht Lord. Light up diya(s), place fresh fruit(s) and fresh flower(s) on the altar. Then, take the water from any leaf of any tree, and then sprinkle it over yourself, followed by sprinkling it over the Chinnamasta Yantra. The mantra of ‘Om Sreem Kleem Hreem Aiim Vejravai Rochaniye Hum Hum Swaha’ should then be chanted for 21 times with complete belief, dedication and concentration on the God, to get the bearing process of Chinnamasta Yantra completed. Close both the eyes to concentrate and prey to the deity for fulfilling your wishes.
Those with a malefic Rahu placed in their horoscope should bear this Chinnamasta Yantra. In that case, it should be placed in the southwest direction, as it will act as a remedy and will save its bearer from the malefic effects generated through a bad Rahu in the horoscope. The Mantra for Chinnamasta Yantra is “Om Sreem Kleem Hreem Aiim Vejravai Rochaniye Hum Hum Swaha”.
