About the Gayatri Yantra
Goddess Gayatri Devi is Maha Devi and the deity of Gayatri Yantra. Gayatri Devi is depicted as a five headed divine, where four heads are said to represent the four Vedas and the fifth head is said to portray the Almighty of the Universe. Gayatri Yantra named after Gayatri Devi brings auspiciousness, healthiness, affluence, prosperity and harmony in the life of a person, if that person puts his true devotion into worshipping the Yantra. Gayatri Devi brings the golden grace of the Lord Sun in the life of people, which helps them in making self realization of their inner real self. It awakens the positive and luminous outlook of an individual and turns him to the path of enlightenment.
Bearing Gayatri Yantra helps in making the life of a person free of troubles. Also, it brings a spiritual enhancement in a person, and helps him in realization of his spiritual desires. Apart from spiritual desires, Gayatri Yantra also satisfies material wishes of a person. With the bearing of Gayatri Yantra, a person will remain protected, peaceful, happy and prosperous.
One should purify himself through body, mind and soul before bearing Gayatri Yantra. While bearing the Yantra, the person should be calmly sitting on the floor with the direction of the face towards the east. Now, open the Gayatri Yantra and place it along with an image of the Lord of Yantra, or your Isht Lord. Light up diya(s), place fresh fruit(s) and fresh flower(s) on the altar. Then, take the water from any leaf of any tree, and then sprinkle it over yourself, followed by sprinkling it over the Gayatri Yantra. The mantra of “Om Bhur Bhuvah Swaha, Tat Savitur Varenyam, Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi, Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat” should then be chanted for 21 times with complete belief, dedication and concentration on the God, to get the bearing process of Gayatri Yantra completed.
